2023 - retirement sports all always fun and Terra decided to try her paw at Scentwork. She's a pro at it and completed her Novice Container title with a 1st, 2nd and 4th. I guess we'll go on.
YAY!!! On June 25, 2022, Terra completed her OTCH-C title. She is now officially retired from competition (I think) and official hobby farm hand.
The remainder of 2021 was a quiet year for Terra. She helped around the hobby farm and enjoyed hiking in Maine. She started out 2022 earning 15 OTCH points and now has 9 to go. I'm happy to say that she has started learning about scentwork and is really enjoying it.
In July she managed to pick up another 8 points.
On March 20th, 2021 Terra dusted off her scent articles and went back into the CDSP ring. In two trials she earned another 21 OTCH points.
After having many months off, due to lockdown, we were able to get into two CDSP trials on August 29, 2020. Terra earned 1st place in both Utility B classes for a total of 18 OTCH points.
On October 6th, Terra went back into the CDSP obedience ring and earned 30 points toward her CDSP OTCH title. 70 points to go.
July 19, 2019, We finished our Utility title! It was a very hot day at the Nango trials in Binghamton NY but she came through with a score of 191 and a 1st place. What a wonderful feeling.
June 7, 2019, After raising her litter of 7 puppies and recuperating from surgery, Terra is back on her feet and into the obedience ring. At the Taconic Hills KC she earned her second leg towards her AKC Utility title with a 2nd place.
2018 was a year of putting life on hold, with family illness. In spite of that, Terra picked up her first leg towards her AKC Utility title and finished her CDSP Utility title a score of 195.5 and 1st pl.
2017 has started well. Terra finished her AKC - CD on January 21 and went on to finish her CDX on March 30th. On March 25th she finished her CDSP-CDX.
The weekend of May 13th & 14 she finished her HXBd and HXAdM titles. September 9 and October 8 found us in the CDSP Obedience ring and picking up 2 legs towards her Utility title. On October 21, back into the herding arena and she finished her AKC Herding Championship and picked up two more Qs towards her Adv B duck Master title. Being the busy girl that she is, she went back to AKC obedience and picked up her first Preferred Open leg with a 1st pl on 11/2 and another CDSP-CDX Championship Q with a 198.5 and 2nd pl on 11/11.
In December we made the trip to Orlando, FL to compete in the AKC Obedience Classic and finished in 17th place. WooHoo!!!! She's a trooper.
2016 - Terra has had a very busy year. In March she had a beautiful litter of puppies, sired by Linda Husson's, Tempo, www.madaboutbcs.com/Tempo.html
Once she raised the kids and sent them out on their own she resumed her trialing career. She completed her Intermediate B Course duck title with all First placements and her Advanced A Course ducks with scores over 90. Now she is well on her way, working towards her Herding Championship.
On 9/24, at the Berkshire Belgian Terveren Club, Terra picked up 2 points out of the Adv A course duck class.
On 10/8 at NESA, Terra went High in Trial for 4 points and again on 10/9 she went High in Trial for another 4 point major.
Oct 22nd on a very windy day at Raspberry Ridge, Terra earned her first Q in Adv B Ducks with a High in Trial She was quite prepared for them when they caught the wind beneath their wings. When they came back to earth she was there and ready to move them on. She was also 1st place in both AM and PM trials in Advanced A ducks.
December 16th she changed hats and entered the Lehigh Valley KC Obedience Trial where she took 1st place in Novce B with a score of 198.
2015 - Terra earned her WCR Level 1 title with an Award of Excellence. Then she entered the Started A duck herding ring and earned her Started title with a 2nd place, two 1st placements and a High in Trial at the Raspberry Ridge herding trial on July 18th!
Labor Day weekend in Lebanon CT, Terra earned her Started B course duck title and 1 Q towards her Intermediate A course duck title

Terra is a strong dog , but patient with her stock. She has earned her Herding Championship, her CDSP OTCH and her AKC Utility title. Terra's mother, TBC Ellen is littermate sister to Stuart Mah's Ares.
