2023
On November 18th, he put on his best and finished his CDSP-Obedience Trial Championship. What a great journey this guy has taken me on.
Jedi has been busy, He finished his ScentWork Excellent title along with his ScentWork Exterior Master title at Susque-Nango AKC Scentwork trial in Whitney Point NY.
Oct 20, Raspberry Ridge AKC Herding trial, Jedi went High in Trial in trial 2 and earned two 3-point majors. He also finished his Intermediate A Course Sheep title.
It's been a very busy, head-spinning spring with Scentwork and Herding trials.
April 21st we were in 2 herding trials and Jed picked up 4 more points. On to Hartford-Springfield Collie Club and NESA the weekend of May 6-7 where he picked up 2 3-point majors and a couple more singles to finish his Herding Championship!!!!
Jed has been doing so well in in scentwork, almost a shame he has me at the other end of the leash. Buried is still his weak element but he managed to finish his Advanced title. In Containers and Exteriors he's ready to make his debut into Masters and just needs one more Q to finish his Ex Interiors.
April 15, what a wonderful day at Sit, Stay 'n Play CDSP obedience trial. In Open Championship he earned two more Q with a 190 and 4th place and 198.4 for a High in Trial. He qualified in Utility A to finish his Utility title with a 1st place. He moved up to Utility B and earned his first Q towards his UDX title plus 15 OTCH points!! So proud of my boy.
April 1 he earned another Q towards his Open Championship at P4P CDSP obedience trial with 3rd place and his second leg towards his Utility title and 1st place.
March 25, TSDOC CDSP obedience trial, Jed earned two more Q's towards his Open Championship with 198 second place and 193 third place. Then he earned his first Q towards his Utility title with a 194.5 and 1st place.
Started out the year at DPCTZ obedience trial on January 21 in Open where he earned his first CDX leg with a 186. on March 11 & March 12 we were at the SSCNNJ to earn his next two CDX legs with a 186.5 and 3rd pl and 198.5 and 1st pl.

That's it for 2022. Hopefully 2023 will be a good year.
Then, on November 19th, 2022 at Tri-State Dog Obedience Club's CDSP Obedience trial, he was 1st place in Open Championship class with a 199.
Well, my young man done me proud on November 11th,2022 at the Tri-State Dog Obedience Club's NACSW NW2 trial when he not only earned his title but came in 1st place overall. That's equivalent to High in Trial. He also earned two Pronounced. He's such an awesome boy.
We traveled to Connecticut for the Labor Day trials. Jedi came in 5th both days. He has miles to go to improve on his skill, but he's coming along.
October saw us back at Raspberry Ridge where he did pick up another championship point for a total of 5. He's been working hard on his sheep herding skills and we hope to be trialing on sheep in 2023.

May was Scentwork month. He made his debut into Intermediate B course Ducks and some really fast runners. He Q'd all three days to finish his Intermediate title. He also earned two more legs in Advanced A ducks which will go towards his Master title.

6/6/21 at MHDTC Scentwork, Jed earned his second Buried leg with 1st place out of 23 and another 1st place in Novice Exterior to finish that title.
4/16/21 We took the plunge, by-passed Intermediate and entered Advanced A course Ducks for his first leg and 2nd place. The herding journey begins.
Finally back in competition mode and trying to catch up on lost time.
3/20/21 CDSP obedience trial, Jedi finished his Started Novice then moved up to Novice in trial 2, to earn his first Novice leg with a 197.5 and 2nd place.
Thanks to Covid Lock-down, Jed has had a hard time getting into competition mode. We were able to get into AKC Herding Started A Course duck on July 17 & 18 to earn two Qs with 1st places. He switched hats and went into CDSP obedience and earned two Qs towards his Starter Novice title, with 1st places. 12/28/19 Jedi made his competition debut, entering his first Scentwork trial and earning his very first Novice Container leg with a 3rd pl.
At 8 months of age, Jedi is everything I could ever ask of him. Like his Daddy, he follows me around when I'm taking care of the ducks and doing chores.
In herding he is very quiet on his stock and is learning his lifts and flanks.
He has mastered his Scentwork and will enter his first AKC Scentwork trial in December.
In obedience, he is learning his signals for Open and Utility, has his metal scent article figured out and is retrieving on both flat and over a low jump. He is so eager to please and he has a jolly temperament.
